Dr. Tapia graduated from dental school in Nicaragua. She later completed a postgraduate Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program through the UCLA School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Tapia is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Western Los Angeles Dental Society.

When she isn't helping patients achieve a brighter smile, Dr. Tapia enjoys spending time with her partner and two children.
